What equipment is required for my daughter?
Each player must have a girls lacrosse stick, eye googles, and a molded mouth guard for all practices and games. You will need to purchase this equipment as IGLA does not loan it unless specifically mentioned.
Do I need special shoes?
No, soccer/softball cleats or athletic shoes are appropriate.
What if my daughter wears braces?
You can purchase special mouthguards. Shock Doctor is a good one that is available at Dick's Sporting Goods. No molding is required.
What is my daugter wears glasses?
In the youth game, you are allowed to wear glasses under your goggles. Prescription goggles are an option. Otherwise, any pair that comfortably fits over the glasses is fine. Look for a more rectangular sized frame that creates more space. Some IGLA players recommend the Cascade Iris, Warrior googles and the Bangerz OTG Plastic goggle.
IGLA does not provide any equipment, but highly recommends the companies below for all your equipment needs.
