Testimonials

“The coaches are great and the girls seem to really enjoy Lacrosse. I am very glad that IGLA came to Palatine so my daughter could sign up. It is nice that the girls get equal amounts of time to play so they are not left out and they get the opportunity to play all positions.” Palatine parent

"Thank you all for making Sammi's first Lacrosse session so awesome. The coaches were really great as well. I enjoyed watching the practices and the games were very interesting, love the pace!" Corrine W., Palatine parent

“Jane loved trying out lacrosse. Thanks for the nice instruction - it was nice for beginners!”

“This program was a great positive influence for my Middle School daughter. The coaches promoted self confidence and allowed play time for everyone.”

"IGLA is a fantastic league with great dedicated coaches."

"IGLA has been a wonderful experience for my daughter. We chose lacrosse when our registration for a soccer team fell through at the last minute. We are so happy that soccer didn't work out because my daughter loves lacrosse. She has had an incredible experience with her team, coaches and director. The sport itself is incredibly fun to play and to watch. The sportsmanship and principles IGLA is based on are great skill builders for young girls. I am looking forward to see what each season brings as my daughter progresses and becomes a better player.” Patti C, Naperville

"My daughter had a very positive experience with IGLA. She was a first time player, learned a lot and improved throughout the season. Communication from the Director and coach were very good. She will definitely be playing in the Spring.” Julie Thornton, Barrington

“IGLA has been an exceptional experience for my daughter. We are a new family to the sport. The engaged coaches, the focus on development and the commitment of the organization have all played a role in lacrosse becoming one of my daughter's favorite sports. Her passion for lacrosse just keeps growing and growing. I give IGLA and her coaching staff credit for this positive experience.”

"This was my daughters first time trying a sport and she really enjoyed Lacrosse. I think she has a future in this and with the league. They made her feel very comfortable and cheered her on.” Julie K.

"If it hadn't been for my daughter’s coaches, she would have never started playing goalie. And now after 2 years of being goalie we owe it all to her coaches."  Northbrook/Glenview parent

“Our family found IGLA to be excellent. They introduced our daughters to a new sport, including all of the skills and new rules, in a way that was very fun. The program was organized, well run and communication was always clear. You can tell that the coaches and program leaders love lacrosse and enjoy "spreading" the knowledge and joy of the sport.”

"A well run friendly organization for girls of all ages and abilities where they make learning lacrosse fun.” Mark F., Park Ridge

"I have coached a lot of youth teams and I have never been part of any organization that has run so smoothly.  I can't believe how much the girls have learned this session and you can see it in their play. My daughter is in 4th grade and she came home from school one day and said she wanted to play lax.  This is the first sport she has ever shown any interest in.  She loves it!  I can tell you for sure that she would not have such an awesome attitude if it weren't for IGLA and the great LZ coaches. Thanks for running such a great organization.  Like my daughter, neither of us new anything about the girls game and now we both love it."  Steve S., Lake Zurich parent

"I can't thank the coaches and organizers enough for an outstanding experience. Kelsey loved going to every practice and playing in the games. The coaches were obviously experienced and my daughter learned so much from them." Deb M., Libertyville parent

"I was quite sad walking off the field on Sunday thinking that was my last game coached given that my daughter is heading into high school in the fall!  I was really happy to see the way the team developed. I wish I had video of the first and last game to show the girls just how much progress they made! And hopefully we infused a love of the sport into most of them such that they continue to play.  I am quite impressed with everyone involved in developing the girls lacrosse teams. Many thanks to you for investing an incredible amount of time to help propel the sport forward! We can never thank you enough for everything you are doing to develop the sport!" Patrick D., Barrington/Palatine parent coach

"I would like for you to know how refreshing, and exciting, it was last night to see what your organization brings to the game." Lake Zurich dad

"Both my daughters played this fall and loved it.  The coaches did a great job a teaching the skills in practice and also teaching positions on the field for the games.  My daughters really felt like they could play the game after on a couple of weeks learning.  The communication is wonderful, we always felt we knew what was going on from clinics to practice to game location, great website too!"  Elmhurst parent

"Thank you and all of IGLA for what you've provided to Madeline and me over the last four years. What was a diversion for Madeline has become a passion, and the same holds for me. We've grown in the sport and it wouldn't have been possible without what IGLA has provided. The positive experiences are all around: the role modeling, the inclusiveness, the camaraderie.  I scream loud and long when it comes to what lacrosse can mean to a girl -- because I have watched what happens when that girl becomes a young woman. It's all amazing."  Mark Y., parent
