The 2012 IGLA Youth Festival was a resounding success. With 72 teams in attendance, Hassert Park was decorated with IGLA color and spirit. The players were overheard making up their own lacrosse theme songs while decorating themselves with IGLA tattoos and practicing stick tricks. The stunning setting of Hassert Park was enhanced by the cloudless day and much appreciated water playground. Less windy conditions would have been nice, but the girls' smiling faces attested to the fact that the day was enjoyed by all.
Congratulations to: Sophie Eustis (Evanston) - Director of the Year Brian Beargie (Hinsdale) - Coach of the Year Laura Heyser (Northbrook) - Rookie Director of the Year Peggy Grubbs (Elmhurst) - Rookie Director of the Year
Hinsdale Team 1, coached by Bill Santulli - 7th/8th A Champions!
